PALI mourns the loss of one of our first volunteers, Salvatore Losicco, Jr. Sal passed away on Friday, August 15, 2008.

 

 

While Sal did not have a long journey on this planet, he made a huge impact on the lives he touched. His loss leaves behind many broken hearts, but many fond memories and joyous thoughts.

 

 

Before helping start PALI, he was a volunteer with Long Island Pride Parade and was a delegate to the 2005 International Pride Organizers conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He also was the Finance Chair of the Gay & Lesbian Employee Business Network for Best Buy Stores in the NYC Metro area.

 

 

He is survived by his beloved partner John and his friends, amongst the many he was loved by Liz, Nicole, Shawn, Paul and Chris. He was predeceased by his parents Joanne and Salvatore, Sr.
